Vanguard to launch first-time investor service through targeted support

Vanguard is set to launch a service for first-time investors, after the asset manager was granted targeted support permissions by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Vanguard will offer the service through its online UK Personal Investor Platform, with users asked a series of questions about investing goals. The service is then expected to suggest an investment fund that "suits their objectives and circumstances", according to a Vanguard press release shared this morning (20 April).
