Acquires Mowatt Financial Planning

Chartered financial planning and investment management firm One Four Nine Group has acquired York-based Mowatt Financial Planning.

Established in 2009, Mowatt Financial Planning serves families and individuals in the Yorkshire region and the UK more broadly. One Four Nine Group said that the business "aligns directly" with its founding principles of placing clients at the heart of everything they do to deliver personalised, high-quality lifetime financial planning. Upon completion, Mowatt Financial Planning was rebranded to One Four Nine Wealth. The acquisition was fully funded One Four Nine Group's private equity backer Copper Street Capital.
