Trust in pensions in Britain is “too low”, pensions minister Torsten Bell says.
Speaking at the Pensions UK Investment Conference yesterday (11 March), Bell said the level of trust savers have in the pensions system is not where it should be. He also agreed the volume of change across the sector is "an issue", referencing the capacity issues the industry is seeing. He also said: "Now is the time to build on auto-enrolment", noting as changes to salary sacrifice are not coming into force until 2029, the industry "has time" to prepare.
