Ascot Lloyd completes Aberdeen Financial Planning buy

Ascot Lloyd has completed its acquisition of Aberdeen Financial Planning (AFP).

Aberdeen's financial planning business was sold to Ascot Lloyd in August last year. The deal has brought 6,000 clients and £3.6bn assets under advice to Ascot Lloyd, taking the respective group totals to 39,000 and £14.8bn. The deal has also meant that 60 advisers have joined the Ascot Lloyd business, taking total adviser headcount to 208.
