W1M adds £2bn in AUM with Vermeer Partners acquisition

W1M Wealth Management (W1M) is set to acquire Vermeer Partners (Vermeer), subject to regulatory approval, adding £2bn in assets under management (AUM).

Vermeer, established in 2018, is an independent wealth and investment management partnership based in London. It serves high net worth individuals, intermediaries, charities and trusts. The deal is expected to complete in the spring. This is W1M's first acquisition since Waverton and London & Capital's merger in July 2024 and the rebrand to W1M in June 2025. This transaction comes after W1M approached £25bn in AUM in 2025, up from £18bn in June 2024, as well as net new asset growth of 7.5% during the last 12 months.
