Women are twice as likely to be unhappy with their financial adviser than men, citing issues such as communication trust and the overall adviser/client relationship.

A survey including 1,000 advised clients from Scottish Widows and Boring Money found that dissatisfied women are unhappy with their adviser's ability to think proactively about the bigger picture, taking into consideration an individual's needs and helping them achieve their broader goals. The findings identified that some women, particularly working professionals, who have a strong desire to receive support from a professional financial adviser, may find their financial adviser is falling short of their expectations.
