FE Fundinfo expands adviser platform with acquisition of Contengo

Deal intended to strengthen Nexus platform

FE Fundinfo has acquired UK fintech firm Contengo, a technology provider specialising in performance reporting, wealth analytics, and data migration solutions for IFAs.

The acquisition will see Contengo's data technology integrated into FE Fundinfo's Nexus platform, which should allow advisers to access more detailed client and business data within a single environment. Contengo's data engine currently aggregates transaction and client information from platforms and back-office systems into a single control module. Its tools are used to support adviser decision-making, client reporting, and performance monitoring.
