Moran Wealth Management has moved a step closer to achieving B Corporation (B Corp) accreditation, with co-founder Nicola Crosbie arguing the standard could help financial advisers demonstrate they are about more than profit.
Speaking to Professional Adviser, Crosbie, director of the Lochwinnoch-based firm, said she began pursuing B Corp accreditation after completing a master's degree in wealth management in 2019, which shifted her focus towards values and purpose. "One of the things was to be a business that was doing the right thing and, you know, in all aspects, not just there for making money out of people," she said.
