PensionBee has launched a national petition calling for a legally enforceable ten-day pension switch guarantee, amid frustration over delays in transferring pension savings.

The campaign forms part of the provider's ongoing push for modernised transfer standards and follows research highlighting the challenges facing consumers attempting to move their retirement funds between providers. PensionBee said that while bank account switching in the UK is now completed within a week, pension transfers can still take weeks or months to process, leaving savers uncertain about where their money is.
