PFS past-president Edward Grant: 'PFS is solely focused on member interests'

Long-standing member-director offers to sit down with any concerned advisers

The sole focus of the Personal Finance Society (PFS) is its members and any advisers with concerns about its interaction with parent organisation the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) should sit down with member-directors to get the real picture, Edward Grant has told PA.

PFS member-director Grant said members of the professional body wanted to move on from the widely-reported CII/PFS turmoil of recent years, adding both organisations are focused on member interests - and always have been. The PFS and CII have endured a period of discord in recent years, with the CII effectively taking over the PFS board in December 2022.
