IFAs and wealth managers are looking to increase clients’ exposure to private markets, a survey has found.

Financial advisers and wealth managers are increasingly favouring private stock markets amid stock market volatility, a track record of attractive returns, and a recent dearth of initial public offerings (IPOs), according to research carried out by Pureprofile on behalf of Wealth Club. Pureprofile interviewed 100 UK IFAs and wealth managers, working for firms collectively managing £75.8bn in assets on behalf of clients, in June this year to inform the findings.
