AJ Bell launches mobile-first adviser platform to tackle advice gap

AJ Bell Touch aims to offer secure advice delivery for lower-value clients

AJ Bell has launched AJ Bell Touch, a mobile-first digital platform designed to help financial advisers deliver advice securely to a broader range of clients, particularly those with smaller portfolios.

The platform enables clients to receive, review and approve investment recommendations, make payments using open banking, view their portfolios, and message their adviser. Advisers, meanwhile, can send documents and recommendations via a dedicated adviser website, which has a full digital audit trail. AJ Bell advised platforms product director Mark Rendle said: "We believe Touch will help to address that advice gap by connecting advisers with those clients who might otherwise find themselves below the average asset value threshold by reducing the administrative burden for both parties...
