Porta Partners moves away from SJP’s restricted advice model

Former St James’s Place (SJP) partner practice Porta Wealth Management – now Porta Partners - has set up away from the SJP restricted network.

Based in the City of London, Porta Partners was founded in February 2014 and was an appointed representative (AR) of SJP under Porta Wealth Management. It is now an AR of Cheetham Jackson under the name Porta Partners. Writing on LinkedIn yesterday (12 May), Porta Partners managing partner and senior adviser James McPartland confirmed its move away from the SJP advice network.   He wrote: "After much thought, we've decided to set up away from the SJP restricted network.
