‘Investors don’t have to choose a single door’

Investors and advisers need to understand the importance of “proper diversification”, according to Orbis Investments head of Orbis UK Dan Brocklebank.

Speaking at the PA360 Conference 2025, Brocklebank told delegates that the market environment has "clearly changed" and a new environment was "both inevitable and ultimately necessary" but "challenges can be turned into opportunities with the right perspective". He said investors do not have to "choose a single door" because of diversification. "There is an assumption that the world index will provide proper diversification.
