FSCS investigates advice firm after director's £2.3m fraud charge

Lifeboat fund working with FCA on potential Campbell & Associates claims

Hampshire-based advice firm Campbell & Associates Independent Financial Advice has been placed under investigation by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

In an update posted by the FSCS today (28 April), it confirmed that it has been working with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to understand whether there are likely to be any valid claims that would allow it to pay compensation. "We have now opened our online claims service to claims," the update on its website said. The FSCS confirmed: "Although we are accepting claims against Campbell & Associates, they will not be immediately passed to our claims processing teams for assessment.
