Accenture acquires Altus Consulting from Equisoft

To ‘strengthen capabilities’ for insurance and investments clients

Professional services firm Accenture has acquired Altus Consulting from Equisoft.

Founded in 2005, Altus Consulting's advisory services focuses on life, pensions, investments and insurance, and has relationships with several financial services firms in the UK. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but Atlus Consulting's team will join Accenture's insurance practice in the UK. Accenture has acquired Altus Consulting from Equisoft. Equisoft retains the former Altus software business and will maintains its focus on offering software products and tools within the life insurance, pensions and investments industries.
