Providers must rethink digital strategies to better engage female clients

Research released ahead of International Women’s Day

Men are significantly more likely than women to seek financial advice and use technology to manage their finances, new research from the Financial Technology Research Centre (FTRC) and Opinium for Dynamic Planner has found.

The findings, based on a survey of 4,000 UK adults, suggest financial services providers must rethink their digital strategies to better engage female clients. The research follows a call to action by Dame Harriett Baldwin, MP, at the 2024 Dynamic Planner conference, where she warned that financial advice remains a privilege of the wealthiest 8%, leaving the remaining 92% with limited financial options.
