West Midlands IFA to remain independent and owner-managed

Directors at West Midlands-based Margetts Wealth have completed a management buy-in in a move that secures the firm’s independent status.

Directors Ian Butler and James Vickers, who have both been with the firm for more than 20 years, have taken equal shares in the firm. They join current owner Kevin Smith and will lead the owner-managed business, retaining its independence. The IFA firm, located in St Paul's Square, Birmingham, manages more than £230m of assets and funds for 350 clients, including business owners, professionals and a network of accountants and lawyers across the region.
