Hoxton Capital Management has acquired its fourth UK IFA this year.

The international advice firm has purchased St Albans-based Chequer Financial Services. The business specialises in pensions, retirement planning, providing investment advice, insurance and protection cover, as well as wealth preservation and asset management. The company also provides mortgage advice, a will writing service, and business financial advice and planning. Hoxton Capital Management acquisitions director Thomas Maddison said the acquisition provides the firm with an opportunity to enhance its local presence within St Albans.
