Trio of planning firms attain CISI chartered status

The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) has awarded Manchester-based Smart Financial, Salisbury-based Grovely Financial and London-based Chancery Lane Income Planners with chartered status.

Chartered status from the professional body is given to firms that demonstrate "commitment to the highest levels of professionalism". The body explained that firms must meet several rigorous criteria to achieve the accreditation, including having an appropriate professional development programme that aligns with the CISI's continuing professional development requirements.
