Investec research reveals differences when men and women search for IFA

Men are most likely to find an IFA through their workplace, according to wealth manager Investec Wealth & Investment (UK).

The firm surveyed consumers with stock related investments, finding 24% of men are likely to secure an IFA through work. Comparatively, only 16% of women find an IFA in this way. Men are also more likely to find an IFA through their own research (23%), compared to women (18%). On the other hand, women are more likely to find an IFA through a family member (32%), compared to men (18%).
