Four-in-five advisers using MPS solutions for their clients

The latest findings from Professional Adviser’s in-house research

Close to four-in-five (79%) advisers are currently using model portfolio services (MPS) for their clients, Professional Adviser research finds.

Respondents to the most recent PA Asks survey were asked whether they use MPS solutions, with only 21% signalling they do not. One respondent said: "We run our own discretionary service and can incorporate any assets within." Another adviser said that while they did use MPS solutions for some clients, they were "not sold on them being a one fit for all approach". "We manage our own discretionary model portfolios in-house," a third added.
