Advisers on what stage in client journey they find most rewarding

A look into what sort of work planners are enjoying the most

Advising clients in the final ten years of their working lives is the stage in the advice cycle that planners find most rewarding, Professional Adviser has found.

In our most recent PA Asks survey, advisers in the industry were asked to identify a favoured stage in the client journey. The majority (59%) of advisers said clients in their final ten years of work focused on retirement planning provided the most rewarding work. This was ahead of clients in retirement and subsequent advice work around intergenerational wealth and wealth transfer issues (14%).
