Clever Marlborough MPS now available to all UK advisers

Uses quant-tech to analyse increasingly rapid market velocity

The Clever Marlborough managed portfolio service (MPS) is to be made available to all UK advisers, giving access to a range of hybrid and sustainability-focused portfolios.

Investment manager Marlborough said the MPS was a result of a collaboration with Clever, a specialist provider of quant-driven solutions. The MPS uses Clever's proprietary fund selection and monitoring system - the CleverEngine - to analyse millions of pieces of fund performance data and make "rational switching recommendations". Marlborough's team of portfolio managers and analysts provide "due diligence and oversight" before the recommended trades are signed off and executed, the businesses explained.
