Sesame Bankhall Group names industry veteran as new chief executive

Richard Harrison brings more than 20 years’ financial services experience

Sesame Bankhall Group (SBG) has appointed Richard Harrison as its new chief executive (CEO), subject to approval from the Financial Conduct Authority.

Harrison is set to bring more than 20 years' financial services leadership experience to the group. He will join SBG on 2 January 2024 from Wesleyan Assurance Society, where he is currently chief distribution officer and has responsibility for financial advice, general insurance, and distribution across its five businesses. With a focus on customer-centric business growth, Harrison also leads the delivery of marketing and digital activity for the society.
