Adviser firm Themis WM to introduce four-day working week

‘Burnout is a thing of the past’

Themis Wealth Management is going to shift to a four-day working week from next year in a move that its founder Kate Gannon said puts staff wellbeing at the forefront of the business.

Gannon, who is a Chartered financial planner and director at Themis WM, said she hoped the firm's modified working pattern would make it a sought after business to join. Her business plan for next year stated, from January 2022 Themis will operate a four-day week with employees increasing their working day by one hour per day. The business will still operate over the five-day working week. Staff will have staggered working days with three rest days from the workplace while maintaining current salaries.
