ICO fines Yorkshire company for pension cold calls

Halifax-based Parkin Beacher has been fined £50,000 by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for cold calling.

The company, identifying itself as either Your Pension Options or Pension Choice, admitted to making nearly 100,000 calls relating to possible pension reviews, aiming to arrange an introduction to an adviser....
