FCA to release 'toolkit' to MPs and British Steel workers

Set to be sent to MPs in April

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is in the process of launching a toolkit to help MPs and their constituents manage any issues surrounding the British Steel Pension Scheme (BSPS) saga.

Professional Adviser understands the toolkit will contain information aimed at signposting people to sources of help for those British Steel members who have lost money after being advised to make unsuitable pension transfers.  MPs are set to be sent the toolkit in April, which they can then share with their constituents and help people with concerns about advice they received. More information on the toolkit is set to be released next month.
