FinalytiQ platform report: Aegon & FundsNetwork top for AUA but bottom on financial performance

Aegon, FundsNetwork and Quilter came out on top for assets under administration (AUA) in 2019, but for performance ratings, Aegon and FundsNetwork were part of the platforms to come out last, FinalytiQ's annual platform report has found.

The Endgame Platform Report, headed up by FinalytiQ founder and Timeline CEO Abraham Okusanya, FinalytiQ chief operation officer Karthica Underwood and investment manager Nicki Hinton-Jones, reviewed how platforms have performed through 2017, 2018 and 2019. At the end of 2019, Aegon ended with £91.78bn of AUM, coming out on top out of the 20-plus key advised platforms analysed. Following in second place was FundsNetwork with £81.70bn and then Quilter (Old Mutual Wealth) in third with £58.56bn.
