Chartered financial planner Filip Slipaczek has written to his local MP asking her to demand the FCA sends a formal apology to him following a notice he received over failing to complete its second DB survey, despite never receiving the document in question.
Last week (18 November), Professional Adviser reported that Slipaczek received a warning alongside the third defined benefit (DB) survey which was sent to 1,653 financial advice firms across the UK. The warning cautioned Slipaczek over failing to complete the second survey sent in July, but he never received it. It said: "We are using our formal statutory powers under section 165 of the Financial Services and Markets Act to require you to provide information.
