Equilibrium Financial Planning commits to total ESG investing

Equilibrium Financial Planning has become a signatory to the UN’s Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) as the shift towards ESG investing continues to grow.

The move means that the Chester-based wealth management firm's sister company Equilibrium Investment Management will only invest with fund management groups that are PRI signatories by the end of 2021 and obtain an average PRI score of ‘A' or above. PRI principles include incorporating ESG issues into investment analysis and decision making processes, being active owners and incorporating ESG issues within policies and practices as well as promoting the implementation of these principles elsewhere within the investment sector.  The firm, which manages close to £1bn of assets, will als...
