Inflation protection not front of mind for financial advisers

Financial advisers are not prioritising inflation protection despite concerns over UK economy persistent levels of inflation, research from Titan Square Miles has suggested.

Titan Square Mile's quarterly Market Intelligence Report, published today (3 November), found that inflation protection made up less than 1% of Titan Square Mile Academy of Funds searches in Q3. This represented a drop on Q2, when inflation protection searches nudged up to 5.6%. Searches for capital accumulation (42.9%) and income strategies (35.7%) were broadly level, reported at 42.6% and 37% respectively in Q2.
