Schroders UK Platform Awards 2020 to go virtual

The Schrders UK Platform Awards 2020 will go virtual for the first time on 15 December due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The awards were postponed in August in the hope they would be able to take place in-person at some time in the near future but the organisers have now decided to show them live on 15 December. The judging is due to take place in November.  UKPA chair Clive Waller said: "We have reached the inevitable and unsurprising decision that this years awards event has to be online. This is a great shame as the dinner is the most eagerly anticipated in the platform calendar and regarded as many as a club for platform people.
