Citimark takes over Trigon's financial planning arm

Adds £60m of assets

Financial planning and management consultancy Citimark Partnership has acquired the financial planning arm of Trigon as part of the firm’s growth plan.

The deal has added another £60m in assets to Citimark, bringing its total assets under management to £300m. It followed Citimark's recent acquisition of wealth manager Chawker & Co. Bristol-based Citimark advises private clients, trustees and corporates. Trigon, also Bristol-based, is a pension consultancy and actuary firm. Five Trigon staff will move across to Citimark as part of the takeover, including two financial planners.
