Leicestershire-based Chartered financial planners Rowley Turton has agreed a deal to sponsor Leicestershire County Cricket Club's 1879 club.

The club will provide Rowley Turton with advertising at the ground for Vitality Blast Fixtures, Specsavers County Championship games and Royal London One-Day Cup matches. The sponsorship will also allow the IFA firm the chance to attend 'exclusive' networking events. Serendipitously, the cricket club and the firm share the same birthplace. Leicestershire CCC was founded in 1879 at 20 Friar Lane after an "ambitious meeting" and, some 117 years later in 1996, Rowley Turton said it was founded at the same address after an "equally ambitious" meeting.
