Transitioning data and configuring new technology have been named the two greatest difficulties when switching customer relationship management software, according to research conducted by Jigsaw Tree.

The business support firm asked 33 adviser firms about the issues they face by transitioning or changing customer relationship management (CRM) technology. While data transitioning and configuring the new CRM technology were the top two issues that advisers faced when carrying out such shifts, mapping new processes was also named as a difficulty. Training staff on the new technology, however, was dubbed the least problematic part of a CRM technology transition.  Jigsaw Tree also found the majority (75%) of the adviser firms used technology to manage client records and a similar portio...
