UnderwriteMe has invested in a new team structure and bolstered its distribution team in order to "support increasing demands from its distributors".
The firm has chosen Pippa Keefe (pictured) to lead the larger distribution team under the newly created role of distribution director. Keefe will be in charge of distributor strategy, implementation and support for the firm's Protection Platform.
The reshuffle has also seen Phil Nash, who has previously worked at Royal Liver and Fortis Life, join Keefe's team as national distribution manager.
To complement the increase in its distribution activity, UnderwriteMe said it was also investing in its operations function. Under the firm's chief operating officer Julie Evans, it has expanded through the appointment of Carina Rogers as director of business operations and Ian McLean as head of IT.
UnderwriteMe CEO Martin Werth said: "We've had an overwhelmingly positive response from distributors to step change in the Protection Platform with the new customer journey and Defaqto product rating.
"We are now delivering 'buy now' decisions to almost 1,000 customers per day. As a result, we are investing in people and capability to grow our business and in due course the protection market."
