Janus Henderson names UBS man global head of multi-asset and alternatives

Janus Henderson Investors has appointed Michael Ho as its global head of multi-asset and alternatives and as the newest addition to the group's executive committee.

In this newly created role, Ho will head up the firm's asset allocation, multi-strategy and alternatives teams across the globe from London, starting his role on 14 January.  He joins from UBS Asset Management where he was CIO of investment solutions. Prior to that, he was CIO for alternatives, global macro and active emerging markets at State Street Global Advisors. He also held senior MD and portfolio manager roles at the firm, having worked there for five years from 2012. Before that, he worked at Mellon Capital Management as CIO.
