Advisers hit with Ascentric re-platforming issues

Advisers and their clients have had to deal with a number of issues after Ascentric migrated a significant chunk of users onto its new, Bravura-powered platform.

Informed Choice managing director and financial adviser Martin Bamford told Professional Adviser the firm had lost its data-feed between the Ascentric platform and its back-office provider since clients were re-platformed at the end of November.  Bamford also said clients had been in touch to report access issues to the platform, while some have had multiple accounts wrongly set up. "I can't say any of this has surprised us," he added.
