Preston-based start-up Juniper Wealth Management has become an appointed representative of national IFA Beaufort Financial Partnership.

Juniper was founded in October 2018 by Jon Doyle, who has 10 years' experience in the financial services sector. The firm employs one administrator and a part time marketing manager. Doyle suggested the expense and practicality of becoming directly authorised had become too challenging for smaller firms, adding: "As with many small IFA firms, the cost and practicality of becoming directly authorised with the regulator is prohibitive.
