Welsh IFA Alchemy Advisory joins Beaufort Group

Plans to add “four or five” more firms in 2018

National IFA Beaufort Financial has established a presence in North Wales and Cheshire through the addition to its partnership of Alchemy Advisory Services, which is based in St Asaph, with another office in Chester.

The deal brings in some 500 private and corporate clients, as well as £65m in assets under management, and will see both offices rebrand as Beaufort Financial (St Asaph & Chester). Gaynor and Stephen Lyth, who set up Alchemy Advisory Services in 2004, have now joined the Beaufort Group along with a third adviser, Geoff Goodwin. He joined Alchemy in 2017 from HSBC, having worked for the bank in North Wales for more than 16 years.
