BlackRock's Warwick to join £15bn Real Return team at Newton IM

Newton Investment Management has hired BlackRock's Andy Warwick as co-lead portfolio manager on its Real Return team. He will join Newton at the end of July, reporting to investment manager Suzanne Hutchins

Warwick's role will be co-lead portfolio manager on the Newton and BNY Mellon Real Return strategies alongside Hutchins and Aron Pataki. The Real Return team also includes Iain Stewart and Phil Shucksmith. Warwick has 20 years investment experience, having previously worked at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and Dalton Strategic Partnership. The Newton Real Return fund is the firm's largest strategy at nearly £15bn in assets under management, including £9.7bn run for UK investors.  While working at BlackRock, Warwick was co-manager of the £2.4bn Dynamic Diversified Growth fund and m...
