British Steel pension adviser pulls out of pension transfer market

Pembrokeshire Mortgage Centre, which trades as County Financial Consultants, has pulled out of the pension transfer market after agreeing to have its permissions suspended last year, Professional Adviser understands.

Pembrokeshire Mortgage Centre is one of 10 firms to have voluntarily suspended or changed their pension transfer permissions as a result of advising British Steel workers on transferring their pensions. On its entry on the FCA Financial Services register there is no evidence of any permission suspensions. On the entries of the other firms involved in the British Steel saga, there is a specific line saying the firm must "cease all DB pension transfer business immediately".
