James Hay top-paid employees nearly two-thirds male

Women more than half (54%) of workforce

Some two-thirds (64%) of the top-paid employees at platform James Hay are male, according to its gender pay gap figures, which also revealed women make up more than half (54%) of its workforce.

More than half (56%) of the platform's upper middle quartile employees by pay were women, according to figures published on the gov.uk website. Women also made up more than two-thirds (68%) of its lower middle quartile and more than half (55%) of its lower quartile. James Hay had an average hourly pay gap of more than a quarter (27%) between men and women. Bonus pay was on average more than a third (35%) less for women and more men were found to be paid bonuses - 31% versus 21% of women.
