JP Morgan launches multi-asset investment trust

JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) has launched a multi-asset investment trust, which has a long-term return objective of 6% per annum, net of fees and an initial quarterly 4% dividend.

The JPMorgan Multi-Asset Trust (MATE) investment team will aim to achieve these returns with a typical volatility at two-thirds that of a traditional equity portfolio. The new investment trust is designed to offer investors both income and capital growth from a globally diversified, flexible multi-asset strategy. It also presents a rollover option for shareholders of JPMorgan Income & Capital Trust plc (JPI) - a split capital trust scheduled to wind up imminently.
