The Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) latest consultation provides an opportunity for the watchdog to ban pensions cold-calls from regulated providers entirely, the fair telecoms campaign has said.
Fair telecoms campaigner David Hickson said yesterday's FCA consultation - which asked how it, the government and firms can better protect consumers - provided an opportunity to further ban cold-calls from regulated providers. He said the fair telecoms campaign would be calling for all regulated cold-calling to be banned in critical areas where it does harm.
