OMW advice arm makes £33m acquisition

Old Mutual Wealth's (OMW) advice arm Private Client Advisers has bought Yorkshire-based IFA firm Coleman Clough, its fifth acquisition this year.

The deal brings £33m of assets under management to the national financial planning business. Coleman Clough's founder, director and sole adviser Roy Clough will be retiring, though will remain with the business for a transition period. OMW Private Client Advisers managing director Nigel Speirs said Coleman Clough had a reputation for professional and personalised service.  "This is a reputation earned by Roy and we look forward to building on that fantastic work by continuing to deliver above and beyond expectations for clients."
