Risk software developer FinaMetrica has merged with Canadian financial and investment planning tech firm PlanPlus to form PlanPlus Global.

The merger sees FinaMetrica co-founder Geoff Davey exit the business, following his retirement from executive roles in 2015. PlanPlus Global has an ambitious development plan, including the expansion of a collaborative platform that provides services from execution-only to traditional adviser driven, and exploring the potential of big-data and artificial intelligence for automating the know-your-client process.
