Unbiased recently announced it was closing its journalist/adviser connection site 'Bluebook', claiming the site had seen a dramatic decrease in the number of journalists using it. But there is a catch, argues Hannah Godfrey

Journalists and financial advisers alike seemed saddened by the news, advisers told us they were "disappointed" and that over the years the service had helped them build a media presence they likely wouldn't have had otherwise. While the change isn't welcomed by budding journalists like the PA team, it is the advisers who in my opinion have the most to lose, and who, unless fiercely active on social media or savvy self-promoters, will miss the immediate connection to journalists that Bluebook offered.
