The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has appointed Chris Sier to chair a working group on disclosure of costs and charges for institutional investors, one of the regulator's "remedies" put forward in the final report of its Asset Management Market Study.
Sier, who is professor of practice at Newcastle University Business School, is well known for his work on the Local Government Pension Scheme's (LGPS) transparency code, which was launched in June.
